I all ready had an existing list ready to go David Allen will have to wait until the next quarter. Unless I can get through these titles sooner.

How I am Prodded to Thank It has been over a week since Easter has passed and I am still trying to get caught up in thanking people for the incredible effort that was put out to make Easter our highest attended weekend ever! As I have been and will continue to e-mail, call and write letters to thank people here is how I have been prodded in this process on whom to thank: Here are some obvious ones: Those who had "and then some" efforts: During a weekend like this where everyone steps up their efforts, there are those few who go beyond that and really stand out. Here I am really acknowledging the huge time commitment that was made. Team members who stepped out in faith when they were challenged in new ways: In these situations what I am applauding is the willingness to do something different outside of their comfort zone -- which for an event like Easter this often necessitates. "First Serves:" are individuals who help to fill the extra serving opportunities during our big events. These are individuals who are currently not a ministry team. Our goal is to give them a taste of serving that will hopefully lead to a regular on-going commitment. It is critical that they be thanked appropriately as we want their first experience to be a positive one. Here are some "not so" obvious ones: Long time team members: These are individuals who have been steady and consistent in providing excellent service over the long haul....

3 Ways That Can Help Eliminate Clutter Looking back at the first quarter of 2008 here are three ways that I have tried to eliminate clutter from my life and increase my leadership effectiveness and I hope will prod you in some way to do the same. 1. Clean out my car daily: Ever since I bought my new car in November of 2007 I make it point to empty my car out every day. In the past my car would be a second closet for clothes where I put my workout clothes in the day before, forget about it and in the morning bring more clothes and this would continue on until by weeks end my back seat and trunk were full of clothes. Also in the past my car would be recycling bin of half full and full bottles of water because every day I would take a bottle water with me to start my day. The benefit is that the first workspace I enter into every day is clean. I use my car to do follow-up phone calls, listen to an instructional cd or go over notes when I get to a meeting early -- having my car clutter free has been unbelievably helpful. 2. Clean out my wallet every day: I go to my wallet multiple times during the day like most of us and in the past would waste so much time filing through old receipts some times as old as six months, credit cards that are inactive or I have never...
