I just came out of hour of prayer called "Chair Prayer." We have done this for a few years now right before Easter and Christmas Eve where we take an hour and literally pray for every chair in our worship center. Now for some this may seem a little weird or maybe a bit of a stretch for them spiritually -- regardless, for me what this communicates is that we are utterly dependent on God and His Spirit to work in the lives of the people that come to one of either of our two Good Friday services and/or three Easter services.
Easter is a time when many have made the life-changing decision to receive Christ's gift of salvation and to follow Him. This weekend is that important -- at least 1400 prayers worth.
